Pro Talent Group is searching for a dependable and inventory-savvy Warehouse Clerk for a client of ours on the east side of Indianapolis to start immediately. This is a long-term temp to hire role with a growing fulfillment and packaging company.

Job Summary: Warehouse Clerk

The Warehouse Clerk will coordinate project activities, including simple tasks and larger plans. You will manage schedules, arrange assignments, and communicate progress to all team members. Project Administrator responsibilities include preparing action plans, analyzing risks and opportunities, and gathering necessary resources. For this role, you will work with several teams so strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. Ultimately, you will ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities: Warehouse Clerk

  • Schedule regular meetings and record decisions (e.g. assigned tasks and next steps)
  • Break projects into doable tasks and set time frames and goals
  • Create and update workflows
  • Conduct risk analyses
  • Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Order resources, like equipment and software
  • Retrieve necessary information (e.g. user/client requirements and relevant case studies)
  • Track expenses and predict future costs
  • Monitor project progress and address potential issues
  • Coordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet requirements
  • Measure and report on project performance
  • Act as the point of contact for all participants

Requirements: Warehouse Clerk

  • Work experience as a Warehouse Clerk, Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Ability to handle multiple stages of office and clerical process and understanding of flow of: purchase order verification and entry, receiving orders, materials handling process, scheduling, fulfillment, invoicing, reporting, and job analysis
  • Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation, and schedules
  • Knowledge of project management software helpful
  • Experience with SAP, EDI, WMS, Excel strongly preferred
  • 3PL or contract assembly office experience
  • Purchasing or estimating experience for assembly/manufacturing-related projects
  • Strong phone and email etiquette
  • Solid organization and time-management skills with positive team spirit
  • B.S. in Business Administration or related field strongly preferred
