Position: Production Operator
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00/hour
Location: Indianapolis, IN – Park 100
Overtime: Mandatory overtime may be required based on production needs

Job Summary
The Production Operator is responsible for safely operating production equipment, performing machine setups and changeovers, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities

Operate assigned production machinery according to training, work instructions, and established procedures.

Perform machine setups, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.

Monitor equipment gauges and controls to help ensure machines are operating properly.

Fill containers and assist with various stages of the production process.

Perform flushing procedures according to established work instructions.

Inspect products and monitor quality requirements, including product codes, labels, and safety information.

Assist the Line Lead and production team as needed to meet daily production goals.

Rotate to other production lines or work areas based on operational needs.

Perform manual production duties as needed, including loading bottles, loading empty boxes, replacing rolls of labels, and stacking cases on pallets.

Maintain workplace organization and 6S standards.

Keep production areas clean and safe, including sweeping, mopping, breaking down cardboard, stacking materials, and cleaning equipment.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Complete additional production duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Previous production, manufacturing, machine operation, or related experience preferred.

Ability to learn and safely operate production equipment.

Ability to understand equipment gauges and machine controls.

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
-
Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety information in English.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work productively and safely as part of a team.

Flexibility to rotate between production lines and work areas as needed.
-
Must be willing and available to work mandatory overtime as required.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
-
Ability to regularly move throughout a manufacturing environment.

Some work areas may require frequent use of stairs.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Required PPE may include:

Safety glasses/eye protection

Hearing protection in designated areas

Specialty or safety footwear in designated areas
